busy weekend.

What a weekend ahead!

Let's see here, where to start? Today marks the day of a friend of mine's birthday! So- here it is a special happy birthday announcement! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRETCHEN DANIELLE :)

I hope that you have a fabulous birthday Gretchy! ❤ I love and miss you, SO much ❤

Now, onto the weekend. Today, thus far I've cleaned the living room, wrapped up all of Abi's birthday presents, and filled all the goody boxes for her big birthday party tomorrow.

My baby girl is turning 5 years old. 

On June 10, 2011 at 4:14PM I will be the mother of a 5 year old young lady.  

It may not be the actual birthdate yet, but tomorrow is my oldest daughter's birthday party.
She's having a pink and purple themed Prima Ballerina Party. 

  After her big birthday party, she's having her best friend- Kiki stay the night :)
We've not seen Kiki since our last birthday, so this is a HUGE treat, and Abi & Kiki both are extremely excited. I can't believe that my 5 year old has had a "BFF" since she was 3. 

How is it a 3 year old can keep a best friend, but I never seem to be able to. Haha, I can't wait to see Kiki, myself- I've missed her big brown eyes and infectious laughter. And I know Abi is going to be THRILLED to see her best friend :)

After all the birthday partying in the morning time I'm taking both Abi & Kiki with me to a very special baby shower. My friend Jacqueline D ❤ is having her baby shower- which is totally awesome because it means in just a month-ish time, she will be a brand new Mommy!!!

Jaxon Dwight Dwigans- Can't wait to see what awesome things the new Mommy & Daddy-to-be will get tomorrow at their, sure to be, awesome baby shower!! And sooooo thankful that it's a co-ed, kid-friendly shower! :) I don't think the hubs could handle all 3 of the girls here alone for 3 hours. LMAO! It sure would be fun to watch though ;)

I think that this concludes my busy weekend post :) But I sure hope that you are all enjoying your weekends and keeping cool, calm, and collected.

new way to blog

So, yesterday at chuch, my pastor had given us a handout that had questions to ask yourself at the beginning of every day. We're learning how to be **JOYFUL** in our lives, and I definitely want to start to be joyful! So every day, I will note in my phone what I'm feeling like that morning, and every night I will post what I'm feeling. (: [today is different because i didn't think about doing this, this way until just now, so this is what i've been thankful for all day]

here's to DAY ONE!

- What are five things I'm looking forward to in the next seven days?

 I think that the "FIVE THINGS" posts are super helpful with making you become a more joyful person, and I know I sure could use something to make me a bit more joyful. So here's to the first "Five Things" post, by me. :)

What are five things I'm thankful for today?
[1] That my family and I get another day together.

[2] That my husband has a job to go to.

[3] That we have a car that gets us from point a to point b.

[4] That Abi's birthday party is tomorrow, and then it'll be over for another year.

[5] That I am healthy, have a roof over my head, food to eat, and a wonderful group of family and friends around me.

[2] Jackie & Mitch's Baby Shower for Baby Jaxon Dwight Dwigans

[3] Abigail Elise's birthDAY.

[4] The Spring Performance for Ballerina's Academy, in which all 3 (Abi, Caydee & Bella) will perform.

[5] Spending time with friends and family.
